I create both visual art and creative writing. My education includes an MFA from the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, a BS (general biology) and a BA (philosophy) from Winthrop University, two years of Great Books Program study at St. John’s College in Annapolis, and coursework from UNC-Chapel Hill and Duke University Continuing Studies.
I have taken visual art classes and workshops through City Art in Columbia, the Arts Council of York County and the Art Students League in New York. I have published fiction, poetry and nonfiction.
